Reviews

"This book explains a seeker's journey toward enlightenment in Carrie's usual witty and intimate style – but more than just an explanation, we love it because it's also a take-no-prisoners handbook for students who want to wake up to ultimate truth. It gives practical tips and shortcuts and pitfalls to avoid along the path, plus a lot of exercises to try as part of a serious daily practice."
Nouk Sanchez & Stacy Sully, of UndoingTheEgo.org

"Instead of preaching at you, Carrie turns in the direction you are facing, and with a gentle invitation you can't resist, says, 'Let's walk together while we talk, shall we?'
THE ENLIGHTENMENT PROJECT is everything a book on spiritual discovery should be."
Sean Webb, creator of I AM Spirituality.com

"If you want to understand enlightenment, read this book. THE ENLIGHTENMENT PROJECT brilliantly explains the unexplainable – all with a wit and humor equal to [that of] CALVIN AND HOBBES..."
Ike Allen, filmmaker of A Course in Miracles: The movie

"Carrie examines thought systems we hold sacred, and dissects them to see where they act as barriers [instead of] sign posts on the path to enlightenment. Her words can't help but steer you in the right direction."
Elizabeth Griffin, author of A Place of Grace – Stories From a Spiritual Traveler

"This book is like sitting down with Carrie at a sidewalk cafe to share a hot fudge brownie sundae of spiritual existence: together you carefully discuss (and consume) all the layers of whip cream, sprinkles, caramel sauce, ice cream, and hot fudge [to find a] warm gooey enlightenment brownie awaits you underneath it all."

"The Enlightenment Project is another uber great book by Carrie Triffet. If you missed her first book, Long Time No See: Diaries of an Unlikely Messenger, then buy both of these! Delay not!

This book moves gently along the stream merrily where her last book ended. (I distinctly recall feeling let down that it ended, I wanted to keep reading!!) So to say that I was feeling impatient for this one is a bit of an understatement. Thank you, Carrie! You have not disappointed me. :-)

I don't like spoilers, so suffice it to say that Carrie's "project" only deepens and widens from where she left us. I was a bit startled when she announced that she was 'going out on her own' in the spiritual enlightenment department, but feel relieved that she did. Her newest insights are unique, inspiring and fit readily on my path, with that Carrie whimsy and brilliance intact. Sometimes the follow-up to a solid book (movie, album, etc.) is a let-down. I confidently state that this work extends and delights! I guarantee it! (Am I allowed to say that here?? LOL)

Go ahead. Make your day. Buy it!"

"The Enlightenment Project (TEP) is a gentle invitation to discuss Spirit and how to find our way back to Oneness. Carrie's writing style is something unique because I find each section is like a short conversation with her. I can read it, put the book down, and when I pick it up again I do not have to back-read to catch up. Each section is complete and whole; I really appreciate the format. TEP offers seekers a way to become a Serious Beginner on the road to Oneness.

The Enlightenment Project fits in so beautifully with my other studies. Like her first book, Long Time No See, it is full of humor and insightfully clear analogies. Enjoy!" ~ Joy Towse

"[The Enlightenment Project offers] such awesome practices in vision correction, forgiveness, joining, mind mastery, and non-resistant surrender. I myself had an inspiring realization during the pool joining exercise and it is still present with me! Thank you Carrie for sharing in such way that I know Oneness is not out of reach for any of us truly wanting to awaken. Oneness kicks Ego butt! Hurray!"
